So I got bored today... It's not that I didn't have homework to do, I just started a new term (Advanced Portfolio Review and Advanced Digital Effects... yay.) I just that I didn't feel like working on it more at the moment, so I doodled.

And I ended up in drawing the fandom that started my anime love for me, Dragonball Z. It's a simple character sketch, and a close up face shot at that, but I still liked it so I share. SuperSaiyan Goku be here.

On a random note, I'm use to the paid features on my other account and wow, I miss them on this one.

Man, I'm spoiled. XD

LOL Wow you're fast! And thanks. :D

Toriyama's style isn't my normal style... my normal style is a mix of several styles, I think but its fun to dabble and I have a wall scroll that I used as a reference for stuff like the how his bangs fall in his face and stuff. References are a wonderful thing. :)

Haha! XD And you're welcome~ ^^

Toriyama-style was the first style I learned to draw. I know what you mean; since then, my overall style has incorporated a lot of other outside influences/manga artists' stles. References are wonderful! ^^ I'd like to give Toriyama-style another go sometime, so references will be a Godsend. =3

Hehe, I learned to draw from Sonic the Hedgehog comic books of all things...

<--- comic geek since I could read.

But the first real ones that I used to use as references were X-Men comics. Andy Kubert, Joe Mad, Jim Lee were my big influences. *lol* I had aspirations of being a comic book artist for a long time. I also later referenced comics like Gen13, the Maxx, and Impulse. Man, I loved Impulse when it first came out. Too bad they went and killed him.

Anyways, I used to have a pretty traditional comic book superhero type style but now anime's completely reinvented my whole way of drawing. I went to a comic con about 3 years back or so and showed a few pages for kicks and the artists commented that I had an anime style and was one of those "cartoony" people. *lol*

Hehehe, Cell era is always yummy.

If you could make a non-dorky teen Gohan, I'd love you forever. *grins*

Heheh, I'm sure its possible. After all, I saw a really cool Rock Lee once. They gave him a huge make over and completely de-dorkified him. He looked really good. :D

So if Lee can look awesome, Gohan should be a piece of cake.
